ZIGGY IN THE UK
Date of birth: 15/04/14
Date of rescue: December 2020
Gender: Male
Ziggy was homed in Spain six years ago; we were unaware his adopter had returned to the UK and rehomed him. Poor Ziggy had subsequently passed through a series of unsuitable homes until it was brought to our attention. We immediately brought him back into our care where he’s been in foster for six months.
This handsome boy gets on well with other dogs, those he lives with and others he meets out walking. He likes people and children but isn’t an overly cuddly boy. Ziggy walks well on a harness and lead and doesn’t pull unless he spots a squirrel! He has a sensitive gut and must stay on the hypoallergenic food he currently eats; this is readily available online and from pet stores.
Ziggy’s ideal home would be rural, semi-rural or at least in a quiet location with a good size garden for play and zoomies. He currently enjoys a weekly off-lead run in a secure field. Ziggy is very reactive to noise outside his suburban foster home where there’s a lot of passing foot traffic, so he really needs a different type of home.
Ziggy’s life has been unsettled through no fault of his own, could you be the one to offer him a loving, stable, forever home? For more information, please contact GDS UK director Suzie Scott.
Yes, I want to sponsor or adopt Ziggy!
