Trixie is another poor galga who was living rough and scared. She ran out in front of a car and was hit. The good news is we got there quickly and rushed her to the emergency vet to get her stabilized. She’s doing ok but is on a lot of pain killers at the moment. The vets are waiting to see if her hip will heal on its own without surgery. She’s been frustrated as she’s not allowed to move much for a few weeks. Just another 12 days of not moving to go and we’ve found by giving her a bigger kennel she stays in her bed more. Sometimes it just takes some time to work out what will keep them calm. What a brave girl she is. More information to come.
