We received a call about a galgo on the motorway and Maria Jose HM got there asap. When she arrived the galgo had gone but Maria is relentless, she searched and searched until she found him. We’ve never known anyone as determined as she is when it comes to getting the dog. Tomato is a big, black galgo who had clearly not eaten for a long time. He has an old hip injury that didn’t require surgery as we originally thought. He is a sweet boy and affectionate. How these dogs come around after what they have suffered is amazing.
