Queenie was rescued recently with a snare trap around her waist area. Someone that is knowledgeable about these traps informed us that they are illegal but used to catch foxes. This is a smart girl, she must have chewed through part of the trap to get free and then worked on loosening it as it was cutting into her body. She’s a sweet talkative girl that will soon be ready for a home.

GDS got a report of an injured galga, Queenie, who was spotting covering a huge area. They set out with two traps and took up two positions. While they were waiting for a showing of the galgo, they rescued a mastin mix, a shepherd mix and a podenco/collie mix. Finally Queenie entered the trap and it was discovered that she had a snare attached to her belly. Lucky, no serious damage was done.
