This old girl Poppy was spotted dying on the streets. Whilst she was eating from our hands, we decided we couldn’t risk her getting a full belly and wandering off as we couldn’t quite get the slip lead on her, so the trap was set. As can been seen she’s clearly symptomatic from leishmania. As suspected, our vet confirmed that Poppy is positive for leishmania and erlichia but her internals are good. We are hoping she will make a good recovery. Please contact us for more information.
