Pequeña stands proud as she comes out for her first walk without feeling so scared. It’s so sad to think what they go through and most Podencos and Galgos arrive frightened of people. For now we do our best to turn their lives around.

Short of stature but mighty of personality, Pequeña was rescued from the streets. A Podenca Maneto, this type of podenco was bred selectively to have short legs to traverse thick underbrush. All podenco, Pequeña has the characteristic big upright ears, pink nose and gold eyes. Quite scared now, Tina says she will be a fabulous companion when she comes around and could not be any more adorable. Please contact us for more information.
