UPDATE: Lucrecia remains a scared and nervous soul, but is coming out on walks and in a quiet area is walking quite good on lead. However, good quality 3 point harness is a must for her. She has become a curious dog, who is interested in the outside world. She gets along with other dogs and is eager to learn from another confident dog and really deserves a loving patient home where she can move at her own pace.
A very smart galga, Lucrecia kept us waiting for hours before she could be lured into the trap with tasty treats. We noticed that she wasn’t comfortable and took her for a check up which revealed a broken hip. What these dogs endure on the streets is unreal. Her hip is now doing well and we would like to see her go off to a new home. Lucrecia needs a confident companion and adopters who understand that it will take a while for her to completely trust again. She is very sweet with other dogs.
