Liquorice was rescued from the streets with Bombón, both dogs are very scared. Poor Liquorice has a badly healed back knee. Once the surgeon began the operation, he realized that it was impossible to remove the calcification. The bone is entwined and it is too risky to try to remove it. She does experience some pain now and again but with pain meds on bad days she’s doing fine. We are watching her carefully to see how she is managing. More information to come.
