After all her efforts to evade rescue, turns out Lavazza is a love bug and is doing wonderfully! Eluding capture, Lavazza’s midnight rescue proved extremely difficult. María José HM and her husband met their match with this girl. They had to leave the trap positioned in a precarious and complicated location for two weeks to “train” her into a routine of going in and out, bit by bit. Lavazza is so smart and wouldn’t enter all the way into the trap. Maria had to hide quite far away on the final night’s attempt and this girl still figured out that something was different and wouldn’t go in again. It took weeks of work to bring her to safety. Our appreciation to the lady feeding setting out food and keeping an eye on Lavazza for months. It all worked out and Lavazza is enjoying the heck out of herself! More information to come.
