This girl couldn’t be any sweeter... look at that face! Her confidence grew quickly after arriving at GDS. Lagertha and Ted were rescued from the streets together. Poor Lagertha had severe lacerations on her chest and shoulder. We surmise that she might have been caught trying to jump over fencing. She has been a total trooper being handled by us as well as being treated at the vets. We decided to get Lagertha checked out after her initial examination as her leg still seemed sore and she was limping a bit. We thought it was due to the obvious bruising and couldn’t believe when it turned out to be broken. She certainly hid it well. We are waiting on a decision from the vet about the best way to manage the break. More information to come.
