Joey was rescued from the streets with a terrible leg break. He was picked up and taken to the council perrera because he had an owner and there was a wait until ownership could be transferred to GDS. By law we could not care for him until permission was given. In the meantime the poor fellow was left with an untreated broken leg. Once we finally got approval to take him, Joey endured a complicated surgery as the bones had started healing badly. The good news is that the surgery was successful, Joey puts weight on the leg and what a love bug he has turned out to be — Joey is ready for a home! Please contact us for more information.
