Hugo is one of the Seven Sensitives. GDS received a call informing them that a local galguero had been closed down and fined by Seprona and asked if we would take the dogs. This was an emotional case for us because not only is it on our doorstep but we had been waiting for some time for this news. We had approached the authorities before to help but to no avail. There are ghosts around this place and we won't write about them. Tina has seen some horrors there and these seven very sensitive and fearful dogs are evidence. Fortunately GDS will give them the nurturing and time that they need to acclimate and trust that there are loving humans to care about them. Hugo is still shy but making progress. He is now coming out on the sensory walk with the regular volunteers he knows.
