Doris D. is one of eight pups born to mum Josey. All rescues are eventful but none more so than Josey and her litter. The video shows how relentless and urgent the rescue was. After several years living rough in the mountains and having litter after litter, it was time for this mum to be helped. What the GDS team did to save her and her babies is remarkable to say the least. The Murcian sun in summer is unforgiving but did not deter the team from making the endless climb to search, locate and carry down Josey and her brood. All have settled in nicely and we can tell she is loving having food brought to her rather than having to leave her pups and forage. Mum Josey has a lovely temperament and we expect the same of the pups. More information to come.
