Dodger is one of nine orphan puppies thrown away by their galguero at only a few days old. Discovered by a kind person, we got a call asking if we could take them and of course, we said yes. Sadly two didn’t make it. Nursing mum Alejandra had no issue helping out but with seven of her own, we supplemented the orphans with bottle feeding. We gave a couple of pups a turn at a time, we didn’t want to stress Alejandra and provided special meals for her. The puppies were very weak initially and it was touch and go at first.
