Cuma was brought to GDS with ten other galgos from another rescue that could no longer care for them. A scared boy, he desperately needs a new home to make the next steps in life. He walks nicely on a lead once out but gets spooked very easily by fast movements and unexpected noises. He would benefit from another dog in the home, a confident one to help guide him. He won’t progress with others nervous dogs. Cuma will always need a three point harness as well as his collar. Potential applicants must understand the importance of not rushing Cuma once he arrives to his new home — no visitors, no taking him out on walks straight away. He will need a quiet initial few weeks being walked in the garden on lead before he is faced with more challenges.
