UPDATE: Bruce is feeling better! We think his ear became so infected with the beginnings of leishmania that it then turned into a dreadful infection. It’s such a shame as could have been prevented. Bruce is an extremely obedient sweet boy that must have been a pet at some time. He walks lovely on a lead and enjoys to be with people. He also gives paw sometimes... and really deserves a home!

How could we refused to take in Breton Spaniel Bruce? Despite being the GDS kennels being overfull, this poor guy had been suffering on the streets with a rotting mangled ear. The pain must have been horrendous. Thanks to our supporters who helped to raise funds for surgery, Bruce is recovering and it is looking like the ear is recoverable. Bruce is a typical spaniel — despite all he’s endured, he is happy, social and very grateful to be cared for and safe. Please contact us for more information.
