Bilboa and Zuess have come from Albacete where their galguero no longer had use for them. Bilboa isn’t a happy boy. One minute he’s looking more positive but the next he’s cowering and peeing himself even when we just enter the kennel with treats. We sense his history has been one of neglect. Whilst his galguero didn’t want to abandon the dogs we feel he wasn’t bothered much with either. Consequently poor Bilboa is trying to figure out if humans are good or bad. In panic he will try to jump a fence so he needs a steady home with another confident dog and an adopter who will keep him on a lead in the garden until he’s had a good chance to settle down. We are working carefully with him giving him time and kindness without pressure.
