Angel is now venturing outside the kennel interior.
ANGEL
Date of birth: 15/02/15
Date of rescue: July 2020
Gender: Female
Update: Angel is a galga cross who is absolutely terrified. The third photo down is the first showing her having come out from inside the kennel by herself and is looking a bit more relaxed. Angel is going to need an extremely special home, a home where her adopters really understand the need to just let a dog be until they are ready. The best way to gain Angel’s trust will be to respect her need for space, time and to let her make the first move. Angel is not ready for a home abroad. However we will start taking applications for the right home in Spain. Angel must have another confident dog in the home and we stress that the adopters must understand that it is essential not to push her. Contact us if you would like to know more about Angel.
A family underground, seven pups including one with five legs and a mum that’s been on the streets for years has been one of our most challenging rescues. Watch the video to see what we were up against. The rescue started on a midday Friday and didn’t finish until Sunday one am. Needless to say, the team was exhausted. Not an easy rescue by any means with the heat, location and a very angry mum who we couldn’t get near. She is rumoured to have been on the streets for six years. Now in the GDS kennels, she is still angry.
